This wasn't a fun Labor Day :-(
Long story short:
Monday started experiencing stomach cramping that came in waves of intense pain every 10-15 minutes couldn't sleep among other TMI stuff.
Tuesday still experiencing the pain waves. Sean took me Urgent Care which re-routed me to the ER to rule out a bowel obstruction. 12 hours (!), a xray, a CAT scan, blood tests, Meds via IV, 2 doctors, and a looming admission later- I was released with no evidence of obstruction but instructions for a liquid diet, a scrip for nausea meds and with a diagnosis of Viral Gastroenteritis. Big word for a common ailment: Stomach Flu. I have had stomach flu before but this was an entirely different animal.
All I can say is BLECH!! :-P
